Letter from Mom: YOU'LL BE SORRY TOO!!!!!

Hello My Dear Children!

I just emailed all of you an ABC news report on Nigerian mail scams. I have gotten emails like this repeatedly. I don't know how they get my email addresss, but I just wanted to warn you all. I recently got an email like this from a supposed Chinese company.

I also want to warn you about travel scams. Any letters you get offering free or low cost travel--ignore them. They are scams. Also, never even go to listen to any kind of timeshare or vacation travel club sales pitch. They are all lying to you. That's what we have found out. They make it sound much better than it really is. Never, ever buy a timeshare or a vacation travel club. You will be sorry.

Lots of love,
Mom

Well. THAT email put a smile on my face! If you only knew how easily scammed my mom is, you'd understand more. Gina should be smiling over this one because she knows many of the scam stories! My parents have LOTS of experience when it comes to being screwed, which is why this email is even funnier. And its funny she's lecturing my two brothers and I, because we are the voices of caution in the family while my parents gad about without their brains getting screwed by timeshares and vacation "deal" packages.

At least my mom is a warrior and fighter, so when she does get screwed, she'll screw them back and so far has forced them to give every cent back to her--thousands of dollars, too! I told her once that when she is old and crippled I'll let her get scammed so much money per month so then she can have the glee of getting her money back from the bastards, just to keep her happily occupied.

SHE LAUGHED.

:D That's brilliant!!! Timeshares don't seem like a good investment to me, personally, but I do know some people who seem to enjoy them...

I probably haven't been a scam target yet because I have no money :P

Yeah, it always amazes me how many scans and shaddy people and companies are on the internet. The internet's greatness is in its decentralized, uncensored nature, but unfortunately some people choose to abuse this. Oh well... indeed we should be "wise as serpents, but innocent of doves." There are a lot of good people out there, but yeah, those deal that sound too good to be true, or where the offerer isn't making much money... watchout! Or as the word here is... Ostarozhna! Isn't that a cool word? AW-stah-(rozh)-na... maybe it's because I heard it everytime a bus or metro door closes. I think it's a cool word though.

So I got a Spanish-Russian Dictionary on Friday. Not a word of English in the thing! I think it will be really useful for learning a little more of both these languages. Poka!

Yeah, so my ex's mother sent me this email which made me laugh, because it's from HIS MOM:

Be sure to take glamorous pictures of your new dress. I'll see that D sees it, very casually, of course! Can't having him look at you thinking, "Whew! What a narrow escape I had!" Better that he sits around wondering what on earth he was thinking there, with his head up his butt, and letting this glorious creature to escape him. You don't have to want HIM back, but it's Ok if you mess with his wantings...at least a little! I'm glad you're able to stay friendly. I think you still have a testimony to give him of Christianity as it's revealed in the life you live, even if you never say a word directly about it. I'm glad to see that you're able to stay in contact with him. He will be improved by it. I'm convinced of this! Well, I'm off to Dreamland.

Later. Love you--
S

Wow, what an evil mom!!! You do look fantastic in your dress, but it seems harsh to rub that it in his face for the sole purpose of making him feel bad...

Hahahaha! You have noooooooo idea about his mother!!!!! I wouldn't call her evil in the strictest sense (you aren't either!) but still, she does like to rub his nose in the dirt every once in a while, but in SUCH A POLITE WAY!!! :O). She's an amazing psychotic sane beautiful ugly pure crass square squiggly person, there's just no easy way to put HER in a box. Her son never knew what was coming his way when he entered this world. I think he finds consolation in me sometimes when she gets too much for him, because he knows I still love his mom in spite of being more than capable of seeing her big huge phat problems. I can be understanding from both perspectives: his, and hers. He really despises his mom but he never has enough guts to try and "hash it out" with her. He just tries to get even in little jabs--haha, they deserve each other. THey both use passive aggressive tactics on each other.

Yeah I admit life has been hectic... but beyond that I haven't really found much to blog about. Or maybe just a lack of motivation.

Right now I'm just trying to make it through 5 more weeks of life.

WE SHALL SURVIVE!
